Charles McKenna

 

Elected to the Civil Service Board in January 2006, Charles has an extensive background in management for both public and private organizations. He is currently the Safety Manager for the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe. Charles is an insurance professional who has crisscrossed the United States to work for a variety of organizations as a claims adjuster, claims supervisor, and risk manager.

 

Chip’s educational background includes: Bachelor of Science in Economic Science from Montana State University; a Masters of Public Administration from Florida International University; and several insurance designations, such as, Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), and Associate in Risk Management (ARM).

 

Chip’s community service includes: Safe Streets (2005-Present); City of Tacoma Charter Review Commission (2003); Chair of the City of Helena Citizens’ Council, Vice Chair on the City of Helena Local Government Review Committee, and the City of Helena/Lewis & Clark County Consolidated Planning Board.
